Full Circle Mental Health Services is the private practice of Dr. Marcus R. Patterson, PsyD, CCHP-MH — a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist with more than a decade of experience working at the intersection of mental health, the law, and human well-being. Dr. Marcus R. Patterson, Psy.D


Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Patterson holds a Doctor of Psychology from Argosy University (APA-accredited) and a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology, with post-doctoral training at the Institute of Law, Psychiatry and Public Policy at the University of Virginia. He is licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, and is a Certified Correctional Health Professional – Mental Health (CCHP-MH) through the National Commission on Correctional Health Care. From 2022 through 2025, he served as a mental health expert to the federal Special Master in Coleman v. Newsom, the federal class action governing mental health care across the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and he is co-author of a chapter in the Oxford Textbook of Correctional Psychiatry (2nd Edition).
